Banyana Banyana advanced to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals after beating Burkina Faso at the Stade Moulay Rachid in Casablanca.

South Africa booked their place in the quarter-finals after Thembi Kgatlana scored the winning goal in Casablanca.

Dr Desiree Ellis’ side will now take on host nation Morocco in the quarter-finals when they meet in Rabat on Saturday.
