Legacy Motor Club Parting Ways with Nemechek

Legacy Motor Club has announced they will not retain John Hunter Nemechek for the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series season, ending their three-year partnership.

John Hunter Nemechek, 29, joined Legacy Motor Club at the start of the 2024 season. His best points finish with the team was 25th, and he currently sits 27th in the 2026 championship standings, trailing teammate Erik Jones by 80 points.

The decision comes as the team looks to regroup for the upcoming season. Nemechek's departure marks the end of his tenure with Legacy Motor Club after three years of competition in the NASCAR Cup Series. sports24.club
