Panthers Sign TE Heinrich Haarberg

The Carolina Panthers have signed tight end Heinrich Haarberg to their 90-man roster, waiving outside linebacker Jamil Muhammad in a corresponding move.

The Panthers announced the signing of Haarberg on Wednesday morning. The former Nebraska tight end caught eight passes for 52 yards and a touchdown last season, his first playing at the position after spending his first years as a versatile quarterback. forestarrow.help

Haarberg started eight games at quarterback in 2023 and one in 2024, deployed in a similar fashion to Taysom Hill with the Saints in 2024. His experience playing multiple positions could help his bid to stick around in Carolina.
