The Mexican Football Federation has warned domestic players that they will be excluded from the 2026 World Cup squad if they fail to attend a mandatory training camp in Mexico City.

The FMF announced that any Liga MX player who does not report to the High‑Performance Centre in Mexico City by 8 pm local time will be dropped from the World Cup squad.
