Braves Start Ray Kerr in Decisive Game 3

Game 3 of the Wild Card Series between the Braves and Phillies is a do-or-die matchup, with the winner advancing and the loser eliminated. The Braves will start left-hander Ray Kerr, who is making his first career postseason appearance. Kerr will be followed by right-hander Grant Holmes in bulk relief.

The Phillies counter with veteran right-hander Aaron Nola, who was 7-12 with a 4.67 ERA in the regular season. The Phillies forced this decisive game by beating the Braves 4-3 in 10 innings on Wednesday. Kerr has a 1.47 ERA in nine games with Atlanta since his recall on August 16. mchezo.co.za
