Bruno Fernandes Named PFA Player of the Year

Bruno Fernandes has been crowned the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Player of the Year for last season after a record-breaking campaign with Manchester United.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes made history with 21 assists last season before being named the PFA Player of the Year. The prestigious award, voted for by players themselves, comes after Fernandes received several other accolades. He beat Manchester City's Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki, plus Arsenal trio Declan Rice, Gabriel, and David Raya for the honor. chickenroad.qpon

Haaland had previously been the first Scandinavian to win the award in 2023 after scoring 52 goals in 53 matches for Manchester City. On the women's side, Manchester City's Bunny Shaw claimed the prize. The PFA has been distributing these awards in English football since 1973/74.
