Polish qualifier Maja Chwalinska reached the Roland-Garros final after defeating Diana Sjnaider in the semifinals.

Maja Chwalinska (24), ranked 114th on the WTA tour, continued her remarkable run in Roland-Garros by defeating Diana Sjnaider 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 in the semifinals. The Polish qualifier, who had to go through qualifying rounds just to reach the main draw, will face eighth-seeded Russian Mirra Andrejeva in the final.

In the other semifinal, Andrejeva comfortably beat Ukrainian Marta Kostjuk 6-1, 6-3.
