Jury Selected for Diggs Assault Trial

A seven-member jury has been seated for the assault trial of former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who faces charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault.

The trial at Dedham District Court is expected to last two to three days. Diggs has pleaded not guilty to allegations he struck his former private chef in the face, placed her in a chokehold, and threw her onto a bed during a dispute over unpaid wages on December 2, 2025. sports24.club

The 32-year-old, released by the Patriots in March, was not present at the final pretrial hearing where the judge excluded references to a separate prior incident by the alleged victim. Diggs is currently a free agent.
