Mondial Sports Launches Monthly Discussion Forum

Mondial Sports has introduced 'La causerie,' a new monthly gathering taking place once a month on Sundays where intellectuals and experts engage in convivial discussions about significant sports-related topics. The forum aims to go beyond surface-level sports coverage to explore connections with society, culture, and politics.

For the inaugural event, participants will address political positions taken by champions, the issue of age in sports, unfulfilled Paris 2024 promises regarding accessibility for people with disabilities, and the media coverage of female sports (VSS). This new initiative represents an expansion of Mondial Sports' coverage into more in-depth analysis of sports' broader societal impact. newsindata.org
