Rui Pinto, the creator of Football Leaks who helped expose Manchester City's financial violations, has announced plans to leave Portugal after authorities terminated his participation in the country's witness protection program. The decision came shortly after Manchester City was found guilty of 115 charges by the Premier League.

Pinto's lawyers will appeal the decision to remove his protection status, describing his situation as "critical."
