Arizona Sweeps NAU, Faces Clemson in NCAA Tennis

Arizona men's tennis defeated NAU 4-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, advancing to face Clemson in the second round Saturday at 1 p.m. PT.

The 8th-seeded Wildcats (22-4) won their opening NCAA match for the sixth consecutive season, with Jay Friend, Filip Gustafsson and Arcilla each winning in straight sets. Arizona's match took less than 90 minutes.

Clemson (17-12) defeated Ole Miss 4-3 in their first round match. The teams previously faced each other in January in Florida, with Arizona winning most doubles matches.
