Gran Canaria signs ex-Barça Metu for ACB

Dreamland Gran Canaria has officially contracted Chimezie Metu (2.08m, dual US-Nigerian nationality) for what remains of the campaign. The player, formerly with Barcelona, joins the yellow team to add versatility and physical strength to Jaka Lakovic's rotation during the decisive stage of the competition.

The 26-year-old forward will bolster Gran Canaria's options as they push for playoff positioning in the ACB league.
