A man who murdered his partner with a towel rail and shower head has been jailed for 21 years.

A man who bludgeoned his partner to death with a towel rail and shower head in the bathroom of her home has been jailed for a minimum of 21 years.

The judge imposed the mandatory minimum term before the perpetrator becomes eligible for parole.
